Asansol Anandam Sponsorship was given to 10 (ten) physically & mentally retarded, hearing impaired students of Asansol Anandam, a special Child Development and Vocational Training Centre under the C.S.R and SD activities of RI-I for the year 2013-14. The payment for the sponsorship was made to Asansol Anandam for the first and second quarter of the current year by a cheque of Rs. 67,500/- (Sixty seven thousand and five hundred) only. The Cheques were handed over to the Secretary, Asansol Anandam by Sri A.K Palit, G.M(Civil)/Chairman, RI-I, C.S.R Committee. Other members of the C.S.R committee were also present during the occasion

Asansol Municipal Area The following schools of the Asansol Municipal Area were provided with desks and benches (25 sets each ) by the RI-I, CSR Committee : Barachak F.P. School, Asansol Gopalpur, F.P. School, Asansol Bidhan Smrity Sikha Niketen High School, Damra Huchuk Para F.P. School, Lower chelidanga, Asansol Nakrasota F.P. School, Asansol. The total expenditure for the work was Rs.2,24,000/- (Two lakh twenty four thousand) only. After handing over of the desk and benches to the above schools by RI-I, CSR Committee, the payment was released to the concerned party.

Path Nirdeshika Asansol Financial assistance of Rs.40,000/- (Forty Thousand only) was provided to Shri Bipradas Chatterjee for publication and distribution of his book Path Nirdeshika to local school students free of cost. This book is exclusively framed to develop traffic rules awareness for small kids/children. The said books, sponsored by RI-I, CMPDI, under the C.S.R & S.D. activities for the year 2013-14, were distributed to the students of local schools by the RI-I, C.S.R committee.
