Introduction
Mining Electronics Department is actively associated with the Identification and Implementation of Electronics & Control System for Opencast Mines and Underground mines besides planning and design of communication network of subsidiaries for providing Integrated Voice, Video & Data Communication.
The Department is also associated with Adoption of 5G Technology in Coal Mining Industry with establishment of a dedicated “5G COE Use Case Test Lab” in Deptt. with Lab scale 5G Captive Non-Public Network (CNPN) to Test and refine the 5G Use cases for Coal Industry.
